Today I had the distinct pleasure of hanging out at the Martha Stewart compound as part of 30 or so women who are a part of the “Dreamers In to Doers” community that Martha started a few years ago. However this group collectively decided to meet and do something for someone else. We all got together and created items, designs, crafts along with collecting donations to give to a city based battered woman’s shelter called Safe Horizons. It was great to meet the other woman that I was working on the project with but even more rewarding to meet the women from the shelter. Young, beautiful, inspiring woman made Laidback a better company today.
