Hey Guys sorry I’ve been MIA for a minute. I have had some technical difficulties, sick family members, and the loss of a friend all in the same week. I am back to regain my focus of building the Laidback brand and later the compound to resemble something similar to the Google, Zurich office. Watch out google, Laidback does design! and you’re in our office. But for real check out the picts of the Google Campus. More picts here
I thought I was fly when FIT let me design a course called Viral Marketing for this Spring semester where I can hang out online for 3 hours and get paid for it, but I got topped. Carnegie Mellon takes the cake, they are offering a course on kicks. Sneakerology 101 will be chronicling the whole sneaker freaker culture. The class is using Bobbito’s Where’d you get those? as a source of reference and the everyday sneaker sites. I love when the classroom goes underground. If Pittsburgh wasn’t so damn far I’d be kickin it that class fo sure!

So this is just a warm up to the new series that we will be introducing next month called “How do you get Laidback? stay tuned for more. Thoughts??..

One of the books in my ever growing library that has always been a source on inspiration is Subway Art. I just heard via Complex that this book is now digital. It is an interesting direction for the book to go to. Cool on one hand to expose folks, but nothing beats a tangible copy. So if your a fan of graf and street art go cop a copy .
