I stumbled on this postcard on my namesake and friends blog swissmiss. It really made me think about this journey in creating Laidback, a life of comfort, fun, style, and friendships. . When I say it is more than just a pillow it my belief that something as simple and mundane as a pillow can be more, an invitation to higher living, better relationships and pure bliss. Although the economic climate is wack right now, you really have to believe that it will be better, that you can be better, and that all things are possible if you just believe. Donna Brady of Re-surface knows how to bring the light. One of my favorite light designers uses what we believe design is all about, conversation pieces. Creating pieces for the home for folks to talk about. The ultimate conversation piece it the new Remix collection she is offering now. The pendant lamp is an MC’s dream, now you can mic check in the dark. The microphone is just one of the great pieces she offers.
